PS Logistics Drives Toward Greater Workforce Visability and More Strategic HR with ADP Vantage HCM

PS Logistics Drives Toward Greater Workforce Visability and More Strategic HR with ADP Vantage HCM

As one the fastest-growing flatbed transportation and logistics companies in the United States, PS Logistics’ main mission is to “be the best” for its drivers and customers. In order to do that, the company needed greater insight into its workforce of more than 2,500 employees operating across 48 states. Kim Daigle, vice president of Human Resources at PS Logistics, needed more confidence in the company’s HR information – and advocated for a shift from a multi-vendor approach to an integrated human capital management system after the firm continued to experience rapid growth through acquisition. “We have 18 different companies and were using multiple vendors, each of which had their own system of record,” said Daigle. “Without a single system of reliable HR information, it’s tough to gain a holistic view of your workforce and make strategic HR decisions. How Can Startups and Entrepreneurs Compete in the War for Talent? With a PEO

How Can Startups and Entrepreneurs Compete in the War for Talent? With a PEO

It’s no secret that starting and running a small business is no small feat. Business owners are often pulled in what feels like a million directions — striving to ensure the business is growing, clients are happy, and that they actually get to sleep at night (or at least some nights!). As a result, working with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) is a popular option that many entrepreneurs are considering. ADP TotalSource®, the largest PEO in the United States with more than 400,000 worksite employees, has traditionally...

ADP MOTM 2016: Benefits Summit and Sessions Explore Topics Vital to Business Success

Benefits is back!  Benefits is sexy! Too enthusiastic for you?  Well, it wouldn’t be if you saw how interested and engaged the attendees of ADP Meeting of the Minds 2016 were in the topics we discussed during our daylong Benefits Summit, and in the nearly 30 benefits-related learning sessions we conducted. Fifty-five clients representing 44 employers and 250,000 employees contributed to the dialogue of our second Benefits Summit where we talked about a range of topics, including: how viewing employees as customers and focusing on the “moments that matter” in their lives can provide greater value to them and the employer; driving better business outcomes with an integrated benefits strategy; current and impending federal regulatory issues and wellness programs; and developing a benefits strategy in an evolving human capital management landscape. Other sessions throughout the conference focused on the four critical business imperatives – cost, compliance, consumerism and culture.  We commonly refer to these as the 4Cs.  Specifically, we offered sessions on the impact of federal regulations, insurance exchanges,...
