Ditching Paper For Plastic? Consider These Five Steps to Get Started

Ditching Paper For Plastic? Consider These Five Steps to Get Started

By Normia Arteaga, Director Wage Payments Solutions & Marketing, ADP Given the growing popularity of electronic payroll, many companies are evaluating the potential cost savings and flexibility that methods such as direct deposit and payroll cards might deliver to their workforce. These electronic pay methods can reduce the cost of printing and shipping checks and help limit liabilities caused by lost or stolen checks and fraud. According to a Visa® and ADP® study on the ALINE Card by ADP® ¹, 93 percent of payroll card holders said one of the most valuable reasons for having a payroll card was Visa acceptance for purchases and bill payment. Additionally, 92 percent said they valued having immediate access to their pay and 90 percent said they valued the 24/7 account management ability. With payroll cards, employees don’t need...

Are you taking full advantage of this tax credit opportunity?

Among the many incentives the federal government provides to U.S. businesses, the research and development (“R&D”) tax credit remains largely overlooked and underutilized, meaning companies may be missing out on claiming up to thousands of dollars of credits! Unfortunately, many of these credits go unclaimed because companies are unaware they may now qualify for the credit, regardless of profitability, size, or industry – even though the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (“PATH”) Act of 2015 enables more companies to benefit in more ways than ever from this tax credit. The PATH Act expanded the applicability of the...
