Entrepreneur.com recently posted a new article by ADP’s Martha Bird, Business Anthropolgist titled: Are Your Technology Decisions Helping or Hurting Your Employees? Bird states that in an age where no industry is left untouched by innovations and new tools, workplace tech can be a tricky issue. She goes on to say that the market is swamped with time-consuming and counterproductive tools. Providing technology that actually makes people’s jobs easier is a feat in and of itself. Increasing WOTC Screening Compliance with an Integrated Solution from ADP SmartCompliance

As Talent Management Compliance Manager for United Supermarkets, Marka Branson oversees many of the company’s compliance programs, including pre-employment screenings such as background checks, drug screening, I-9 compliance, unemployment claims and Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) for 17,000 employees in 96 stores, a manufacturing plant and two distribution centers. We experienced yet another month of strong job growth across the regions in March, according to the ADP Regional Employment Report. The south and the west were top performers with notable increases in Texas, California and Florida, in fact 1 in every 3 jobs created this month were located in these 3 states. Looking at industries, professional and business services posted the most gains in the service-providing sector and natural resources and mining had another solid month in the goods-producing sector.
