The New Wave of Digital Learning: Available Anytime, Anywhere

The world of work is changing…it’s wired…it’s collaborative…and this new environment is making an impact on corporate learning programs. More than ever before, companies are moving away from the traditional courses and classes where success is largely measured by completions and assessments. Organizations are building continuous learning experiences that can be adapted to individual needs, while also aligning with the development needs of the business. This requires the ability to develop agile learning available anytime, anywhere, at the point of need. Download the latest eBook from ADP Marketplace partner, Litmos, which highlights new research by the Brandon Hall Group. Washington Federal Taps ADP to Help with Transforming their HR Processes

Washington Federal, founded in 1917, offers its clients ‘one-on-one, professional, and friendly’ banking services. Based in Seattle, Washington, they currently employ 2,000 staff members across eight western states. Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Lisa King, has been in banking for almost thirty years and with Washington Federal for nine of them. Within the first few years, King saw the company grow significantly through acquisitions; but with more staff on board, HR faced new challenges. With employees in multiple locations, her team also had to manage the laws and compliance regulations that varied from state to state. In order for her team to have the time needed to successfully expand the company, King needed the help of a comprehensive human resource provider: Washington Federal chose ADP Workforce Now®. ADP’s Marc Rind on TLNT: 4 Benchmarks and What They’ll Tell You About the Business

ADP’s Marc Rind on TLNT: 4 Benchmarks and What They’ll Tell You About the Business

TLNT has published a byline by Marc Rind, vice president of product development and chief data scientist at ADP, titled “4 Benchmarks and What They’ll Tell You About the Business.” The article explores how benchmarking brings insights that answer questions HR and team leaders need to know, such as: Am I seeing higher turnover than similar companies? Am I offering the best benefits to keep my fresh, rockstar developers? Are people from my team absent too often? It also highlights how this is especially critical in today’s labor market, where job switching is at an all-time high and finding skilled talent is tough. The article explains that 61% of the workforce is either actively or passively seeking new opportunities, according to the ADP Research Institute’s (ADPRI) study Fixing the Talent Management Disconnect. Four Ways Small Businesses Can Compete for Top Talent

Ask any business leader today what he or she is worried about, and they will most likely discuss the challenge of attracting and retaining top talent. It’s causing managers — from companies big and small — to worry about how they can compete for skilled workers. This is especially challenging for small businesses. When small businesses need to fill a job, they are going up against the recruitment campaigns, salaries and benefits that larger companies can offer. However, despite the challenge of fewer candidates seeking work and the pressure to retain current employees, small businesses can have a real advantage in attracting and retaining top talent if they use their...
