Workforce Quotes ADP Expert About ACA Compliance

Workforce Quotes ADP Expert About ACA Compliance

Workforce has posted an article titled “Despite Repeal Efforts, ACA Compliance Moves Forward” that extensively quotes ADP SME Ellen Feeney, vice president, Counsel, Global Compliance, on the need for compliance with the current provisions of the Affordable Care Act while the incoming administration evaluates its next steps regarding the law. “Given the Republican sweep in the White House, Senate and House of Representatives, the new makeup of our government represents a potentially significant change not just for ACA, but for tax policy, Fair Labor Standards Act, pay equity and more,” [Feeney] said in an email. “First and foremost, it’s important to focus on facts vs. speculation. Change won’t happen overnight. The Affordable Care Act is the law, and will remain so until it’s not. Ten million people are getting subsidies through the marketplaces and 20 million total are insured through the public marketplaces. A wholesale replacement of the Affordable Care Act would require congressional action and would take time.” Read the entire article at Workforce. Share this:Click to email...

Inclusion Goes Beyond the Numbers: ADP Receives Perfect Score on Human Rights Campaign 2017 Equality Index

Inclusion Goes Beyond the Numbers: ADP Receives Perfect Score on Human Rights Campaign 2017 Equality Index

Rita Mitjans, Chief Diversity & Corporate Social Responsibility Officer

Talking openly about diversity is important to creating an inclusive work environment. However, it holds little value if an organization doesn’t implement policies to put that dialogue into action. I’m proud to say that over the past several years, we have demonstrated our commitment to “walking the talk,” by creating workplace policies and a welcoming environment that enable LGBTQ employees to grow personally and professionally at ADP. Sponsoring business resource groups like ADP Pride serves to engage our LGBTQ employees and their allies in implementing inclusive practices like a voluntary self-identification program and awareness training. ADP Pride has also been instrumental in ensuring we have market-competitive benefits that attracts and retains top LGBTQ talent. For these reasons, ADP has once again received a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2017 Corporate Equality Index — an honor we’ve received for the eighth consecutive year. The Corporate Equality Index is the national benchmarking standard on corporate policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees....

ADP Ranked 5th Largest Technology Employer in the NY Area

Crain’s New York Business published its annual list of the New York area’s largest “technology employers,” determined by number of local employees. ADP is ranked fifth on the list with more than 2,300 Associates in the area. We are proud to be recognized as a leading technology employer in the New York area. We believe this success is in part due to the culture we’ve created where our Associates are encouraged to think and innovate like an entrepreneurial startup. One way we’ve accomplished this is through the creation of our Innovation Labs, one of which resides in Chelsea, NY. These labs were designed to harness top tech talent and develop innovative, research-based solutions for our clients. To do that, we’ve hired a diverse Associate population including people from advertising, philosophy, anthropology, design and copywriting, backgrounds. In fact, 94% of all new hires at the ADP Innovation Lab are from different industries. We did this to help bring the “outside in” thinking that will encourage innovation and change. To learn...

Thanking and Rewarding Your Employees Just Got Easier with the ADP Rewards Card

Thanking and Rewarding Your Employees Just Got Easier with the ADP Rewards Card

By Gary Lott, Division Vice President and General Manager of Added Value Services Everyone likes to be thanked or rewarded for a job well done. And what better time of year to give in to that impulse than during the holiday season, when a little extra spending money could make a big difference to an employee’s holiday shopping list. That’s why we’d like to introduce the new ADP® Rewards Card, a non-reloadable Visa® Rewards Card issued and serviced by MB Financial Bank, N.A. The card allows employers to bestow service awards for employee tenure; recognize high-level performance; acknowledge health and wellness milestones; encourage workplace safety best practices; salute the completion of training, or motivate employee and sales referrals. It can be loaded with non-wage related funds for a value between $10 and $1,000 and used for purchases everywhere Visa is accepted. It’s important to note that the ADP Rewards Card is not redeemable for cash, which is why you should only load non-wage related funds to the rewards card....
