Workforce has posted an article titled “Despite Repeal Efforts, ACA Compliance Moves Forward” that extensively quotes ADP SME Ellen Feeney, vice president, Counsel, Global Compliance, on the need for compliance with the current provisions of the Affordable Care Act while the incoming administration evaluates its next steps regarding the law. “Given the Republican sweep in the White House, Senate and House of Representatives, the new makeup of our government represents a potentially significant change not just for ACA, but for tax policy, Fair Labor Standards Act, pay equity and more,” [Feeney] said in an email. “First and foremost, it’s important to focus on facts vs. speculation. Change won’t happen overnight. The Affordable Care Act is the law, and will remain so until it’s not.
