Service-producing Sector Continues to Show Gains in October

In October, the service-providing sector continued its forward momentum while, on a state level, Texas and New York lead in job gains according to the ADP Regional Employment Report. The ADP Regional Employment Report is produced by ADP®, a leading global provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, in collaboration with Moody’s Analytics, Inc. Here is a closer look at the regional numbers: California added 16,980 jobs Florida added 6,960 jobs Illinois added 9,570 jobs New Jersey added 6,510 jobs New York added 19,530 jobs Texas added 25,050 jobs Broadly distributed to the public each month, free of charge, the ADP Regional Employment Report measures the change in regional and state nonfarm private employment each month on a seasonally adjusted basis. ADP Earns Highest Possible Rating on Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 16th Annual Scorecard on LGBTQ Workplace Equality

For the ninth year in a row, ADP® has received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index® (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality. The CEI, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, rates thousands of businesses every year. The report evaluates corporate LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. ADP® Chief Financial Officer, Jan Siegmund, has been honored as one of the top ten 2017 OUTstanding Leading LGBT+ Executives, a list presented by the Financial Times®. The ranking recognizes Jan’s achievements in ensuring LGBT inclusion both within the workplace and externally. OUTstanding is a professional membership organization for global businesses who work directly with LGBT+ and ally leaders to promote inclusion in the workplace. Jan recently drove ADP’s participation in Cycle for the Cause®, signing up well over 100 riders to bike 275 miles which raised more than $500,000 to support the fight against HIV/AIDS. ADP’s Chief Security Officer Roland Cloutier Receives FAIR Business Innovation Award

Business Insider has published a new article featuring Roland Cloutier, ADP Chief Security Officer and his recent recognition as a winner of the FAIR Business Innovation Award. The awards were announced and presented at the FAIRCon 2017 awards, held by The FAIR Institute, an expert non-profit organization led by information risk officers, CISOs and business executives to develop standard information risk management practices.
