ADP Takes Home ‘Top HR Products’ Award For Record-Breaking Third Straight Year with Compass

It’s no secret that great leadership is key to business success. But oftentimes, leadership development tools only provide employees with feedback which is not enough to drive change: They need action plans. With this in mind, ADP® created CompassSM, a next-generation 360 growth tool designed to boost employees’ leadership and collaboration behaviors. Compass was designed for leaders and teams to quickly identify unproductive and derailing behaviors and treat them via feedback and personalized, automated coaching. This talent activation solution is extremely easy to implement and use with no disruption to business. It requires no software to install, no integration, no training, no sign up, and no sign in. It puts tools into the employees’ hands and is built for how humans want to use technology. As a result, the solution has demonstrated quantifiable improvement in leadership behaviors that were identified and coached by Compass in a three month period. Further, the assessment requires only minutes of time investment from each leader or collaborator. The solution recently earned the attention...

Is Your Company Considering Robotics? Find Out How To Get Started!

Is Your Company Considering Robotics? Find Out How To Get Started!

While robots aren’t likely to take over your job any time soon, it’s becoming more likely they’ll be taking over a lot of mundane individual tasks. The McKinsey® 2017 report Harnessing Automation for A Future that Works reveals that a small percentage of jobs—less than five percent globally—have the potential to become fully automated. However, 60 percent of all occupations have at least 30 percent of constituent tasks that could be automated. Robotics processing automation (RPA) is the use of software to carry out business processes that would normally be done by humans, with the goal of driving efficiencies and savings. RPA has been a significant game changer for organizations and can yield substantial operational benefits. By standardizing and simplifying processes, RPA can free employees from routine and repetitive administrative tasks so they can focus on more strategic pursuits. While many organizations are considering this technology and others are piloting it, it’s sometimes tough to figure out how to get started. Learn more by attending our ReImagine Series webinar...

Success Stories: Comerica Bank’s HR Transformation

For the past 165 years, Comerica Bank® has followed one guiding business principle: Putting its customers first. The financial services company, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, credits its longevity to its strong focus on building relationships, its conservative principles, and a dedicated workforce of more than 8,000 employees. To better serve its associates and enable them to focus on helping people and their businesses succeed, Comerica Bank realized it needed to streamline HR processes and solve some issues with payroll inaccuracies it was experiencing. After years of having to deal with receiving Corrected Wage and Tax statements due to vendor errors and employees receiving incorrect payroll and policy information from the call center representatives, Comerica turned to ADP for help and became a client in 2012. By implementing ADP® Enterprise HR® and using ADP Comprehensive Outsourcing Services (COS), the company was able to solve its payroll problems, standardize processes and make its HR team a more efficient and cost-effective group. “Prior to ADP, our HRIS system was customized to the...

The Next Stone in the Path: My Decades-Long Journey as a Woman in Technology

The Next Stone in the Path: My Decades-Long Journey as a Woman in Technology

By Isabel Espina, VP of Enterprise Architecture, ADP and 2016 recipient of Anita Borg Institute “Woman of Vision” award “What’s it like being a woman in tech?” is a question I’m often asked. Throughout my career, the lack of women in STEM-oriented roles has always been very apparent. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, women still account for only 25 percent of full-time workers in computer and mathematical occupations and 14 percent in architecture and engineering.1 When I started my career 30 years ago, this disparity was even more pronounced. I was working in operations for a bank after graduating with my degree in electrical engineering and computer science. Now, as I look back on my career and am celebrating my 20-year anniversary with ADP, I’m happy to say that there has been significant progress. Throughout the past two decades, ADP and I have evolved alongside each other as innovators. Since I was young, I gravitated towards science and math. I loved that these fields provided a problem...
