Taking the Mystery Out of Managing Talent

Taking the Mystery Out of Managing Talent

Being in a business where your customers are thrilled by trying to solve escape room mysteries can be a rewarding endeavor. When it comes to staffing, in this quick-paced dynamic environment you want few, if any, surprises. In just a little over three years, All in Adventures has grown from one location to 31 in 15 states, with plans to expand. The fast-growing company is projecting to more than double its number of locations in 2018. Competition is fierce and intensifying for this unique retail category, with the industry growing from just a hand full of escape room companies a few years ago to more than 1,800 in 2017.* To ensure that the company executes daily games without any glitches, it is critical that each location is staffed not only with the appropriate talent and skills for each game version, but also that employees are on time and in place when they are scheduled to work. “Without that process operating at maximum efficiency, All in Adventures would lose an...

ADP Delivers on the Future of Pay with Wisely Pay by ADP®

Let’s face it – today’s model of pay isn’t working for a large portion of the workforce. Some people struggle with financial stress and have difficulty paying bills on time, particularly the younger generation of workers, as well as freelancers who aren’t consistently employed by a single company. Many employers have found that paycards and digital accounts allow them to take more active interests in the financial wellbeing of their workers to help them meet these challenges and get the most out of their pay. These options have been a game-changer for many. According to a recent report commissioned by ADP®, almost half of Gen Z (47 percent) and nearly a third of Millennials (31 percent) would turn down a job if they were unable to choose their method of pay. This is why we are introducing Wisely Pay by ADP, the next step in ADP’s constant evolution to put clients and their workers at the forefront of macro trends shaping the employment landscape. Wisely Pay is the first...

Success Stories: HAECO Americas Flies Forward with ADP Benefits and ADP DataCloud

For more than 20 years, HAECO Americas has relied on ADP® to serve the HR and payroll needs of its more than 2,500 employees. As the HR team started to assess its benefits offerings for 2018, the company decided to turn to ADP to help with its benefits administration. “With our former benefits provider, we weren’t confident the information we were sending to carriers was accurate because the system couldn’t handle certain benefits calculations,” said Lisa Salimbene, Director of Corporate Compensation and Benefits at HAECO Americas. “That created tons of work for my team having to fix errors and manually update information. The great thing about using ADP for payroll, HR, time and benefits is that the platform is integrated so all the information flows seamlessly from one module to the next in real-time. The deduction files come over at the push of a button, saving so much time and allowing us to focus on strategic work.” As the company geared up for open enrollment last October, it also...

The service providing sector continued its strong growth with professional and business services adding the majority of jobs across all regions. The south posted the most gains with the west a close second. Looking at key states, Texas led the way in job growth where, if combined, professional and business services and natural resources, mining and construction added nearly half of all jobs in the state. The ADP Regional Employment Report is produced by ADP®, a leading global provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, in collaboration with Moody’s Analytics, Inc. Here is a closer look at the regional numbers: California added 20,300 jobs Florida added 16,300 jobs Illinois added 7,000 jobs New Jersey added 3,500 jobs New York added 10,100 jobs Texas added 30,400 jobs Broadly distributed to the public each month, free of charge, the ADP Regional Employment Report measures the change in regional and state nonfarm private employment each month on a seasonally...

The confidential reports help to frame feedback in a manner that encourages managers and collaborators to embrace it instead of opposing it. And the innovation of email-based coaching has proven to be the major differentiator – a sustainable and scalable source of measurable improvement in leaders and collaborators. But for all those things to work, Compass first has to measure those...
